Before you can enjoy the advantages of rainwater harvesting, there’s one crucial step to navigate: the delivery of your rainwater tank. To help ease any concerns and clarify the process, we’ve compiled answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about receiving a rainwater tank delivery.
Do you deliver to my property?
Our trucks deliver from Newcastle to Batemans Bay, and inland to the Blue Mountains and the ACT region. However, some regions in-between these areas may be remote or difficult to access. We require access for a truck and trailer up to 19 metres long, 2.5 metres wide and 4.6 metres high. We recommend that you view our helpful delivery map here or call us on 1800 218 000 to check if you are unsure.
How much notice will I have for my rainwater tank delivery?
At the time of order, we will give you an approximate estimate of when to expect your rainwater tank. When we book in your delivery, we will contact you 1-2 days prior and provide you with an estimated timeframe. If required, the driver will also call you on the day of delivery.
Can I choose a day to receive my rainwater tank?
If you provide advance notice, we will attempt to schedule our delivery on your chosen date. However, all deliveries are subject to transport availability and freight runs to your area.
Do I need to be present during delivery?
Yes, it’s highly recommended that you or a designated representative be present during the delivery of your rainwater tank. In addition to the driver, there needs to be at least one other able-bodied person to help unload. It is your responsibility to store the tank securely to prevent it from damage or theft. If you are unable to be home, the driver will leave the tank/s and take a photo as proof of delivery.
Remember, the key to a hassle-free rainwater tank delivery lies in effective communication with your supplier. If you have any questions at all, you are always welcome to call us.
